Filters
Study some required and optional actions for generating your report, i.e. filtering out your data even more accurately with the Filters option.
DATE RANGE SETTINGS | |
Action from | The start date of visitor’s actions. |
Action to | The end date of visitor’s actions. |
APPLICATION SETTINGS | |
IP | The range of IP addresses that is set by the user including and excluding the IP addresses to avoid internal networks which might creep into the statistics. (It can be set in Experiments/Applications -> Settings) |
Traffic source | The configuration of traffic source for parsing the traffic and providing more accurate analytics. |
MAIN SETTINGS | |
Audience | Allows choosing one of the predefined segments based on the visitor’s activity:
|
Group by time | Groups data by specific time intervals:
|
Time interval | Specifies the period of time delay for some reports:
|
Top N | Sets a limited count of the main attributes of the report:
|
Top subelemets | Sets a limited count of secondary attributes of the report:
|
Visitor’s entry from | Sets the limit for time range report generating of the visitor’s first-time appearance. Enables choosing the start date of the period for limitations at the first appearance in the application. (It is quite useful to compare visitor’s activity for the first time and further visitor’s activity after some traffic has been purchased.) |
Visitor’s entry to | Sets the limit for time range report generating of the visitor’s first-time appearance. Enables choosing the end date of the period for limitations at the first appearance in the application. |
Visitor type | Enables displaying simultaneously the following visitor types on the graph:
|
Show in percent | A checkbox that allows switching between metric values in percents and absolute values. |

Lifetime, days | Limits the visitors only to those, who meet specific requirements of the days of the lifetime in the application. |

|
Quality index | Limits the period; the report’s data considers the visitor’s appearance in the application. There are the following periods:
|
Building mode | Identifies your unique visitor with the Regular option (a standard logics suggested by Maxymizely) or by the ByExternalKey option (your own logics that you set at integration). |

Target content | Enables selecting the name of the visitor’s action being studied for building the visitor’s action sequences before and after this studied action. |
Target action type | Enables selecting the type of a previous visitor’s action. |
Content | Enables generating a report for a limited set of visitor’s actions on the website with the name of the element from this website. |
Custom attribute 1,2,3 | Enables selecting an additional action parameter, by which a report is going to be built. (Additional settings are required at integration.) |
Top actions count | Enables setting the limit of the action number in the report. |
Previous content | Enables selecting the name of the previous content. |
Previous action type | Enables selecting the type of a previous action. |
Next action type | Enables selecting the type of the next action. |
